Free to join. Money protected. Stats verified.
Collab Dock is a paid-collaboration marketplace between brands and TikTok creators. Nothing here relies on trusting a stranger: payments run through Stripe escrow, creator numbers come straight from TikTok's official API, and every dispute is reviewed by a human against the written brief.
There is no upfront cost. Ever.
- • Signing up — free
- • Creator applications & profiles — free
- • Posting briefs and inviting creators — free
- • Messaging, negotiating and counter-offers — free
- • No monthly subscription, no card needed to join
A flat 20% platform fee is taken from the agreed campaign amount when funds are released to the creator. Collab Dock absorbs the Stripe processing cost out of that fee, so the creator receives a clean 80% of the agreed price.
Example: brand pays £500 → creator receives £400 → Collab Dock keeps £100 and pays Stripe's processing out of it. If a campaign never completes, the fee is never taken.
The campaign, step by step
Join and get vetted
Brands and creators apply. Every account is reviewed by hand before it can trade — this isn't an open directory.
Connect TikTok
Creators authorise Collab Dock through TikTok's official login. Followers, views and engagement are read from TikTok's API — not self-reported.
Agree the brief
Deliverables, price and deadline are written into the campaign. Both sides accept before anything is paid.
Brand funds escrow
Payment is taken via Stripe Checkout and held. Delivery only unlocks once escrow is funded.
Creator delivers, brand approves
Content is submitted in the campaign workspace. Brand approves or requests revisions; no response in 72h auto-approves.
Funds release
80% goes to the creator's Stripe payout account. First payouts can take up to 2 weeks for Stripe's identity checks; after that, typically a few working days.
You don't have to take our word for any of it
Real TikTok OAuth 2.0 — check it yourself
When a creator clicks “Connect TikTok”, the browser is redirected through TikTok's own login page on tiktok.com, then to TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 consent screen — still on TikTok's domain, with a padlock in the address bar. You sign in to TikTok, not to us. We receive a scoped token for user.info.basic, user.info.profile, user.info.stats and video.list — read-only. We cannot post as you, we never receive your password, and you can revoke access at any time from TikTok's Security settings. Our domain verification files are served publicly at /tiktok…txt, as required by TikTok for approved developer apps.
Real Stripe — check the checkout URL
Card details are entered on checkout.stripe.com, Stripe's hosted payment page — never on a Collab Dock form. Collab Dock never receives, sees or stores card numbers. Payouts run on Stripe Connect: creators complete Stripe's own identity and bank verification before they can be paid, in 40+ supported countries. Your bank statement will show the Stripe-registered descriptor for Collab Dock.
Escrow, not a promise
Funded campaigns are marked FUNDED in the campaign timeline and confirmed by a signed Stripe webhook — not by someone clicking a button. Release is a separate, logged action tied to brand approval.
Everything is on the record
Briefs, counter-offers, chat, submissions and approvals are timestamped inside the campaign. That record is what an admin reads during a dispute, so neither side can rewrite history after the fact.
Manual vetting on both sides
Brands pass a curation review before they can post, then a separate company verification with registration details. Creators are approved by hand before they appear in discovery.
Human dispute review
Cancellations require a written reason and uploaded evidence, and open a report an admin must rule on. See the refund policy for the full process.
Data & account security
- • All traffic served over HTTPS/TLS.
- • Passwords are never stored by us in readable form — auth is handled by our managed auth provider.
- • Card data never touches our servers; Stripe handles it end to end.
- • Database access is row-level restricted, so users can only read their own records.
- • TikTok tokens are scoped read-only and revocable by the creator at any time.
- • You can request deletion of your account and data — see the privacy policy.
Collab Dock does not claim any third-party security certification. Everything stated on this page is a description of how the product actually operates, and the Stripe and TikTok elements are independently verifiable in your browser as described above.
Straight answers
Does Collab Dock cost anything upfront?
No. Creating an account, applying, browsing briefs, sending invites, negotiating and chatting are all completely free. There is no subscription, no listing fee and no card required to sign up. Collab Dock only earns when a paid collaboration actually completes: a 20% platform fee is taken from the agreed campaign amount at the moment funds are released to the creator. If a campaign never completes, we charge nothing.
Who holds the money during a campaign?
Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. The brand's payment is held in escrow and is not sent to the creator until the brand approves the delivered work (or the 72-hour auto-approval window passes). Collab Dock never sees or stores card numbers — card details are entered directly into Stripe Checkout.
How are creator TikTok stats verified?
Creators connect their TikTok account through TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 Login Kit. The creator signs in on tiktok.com itself and approves scoped read-only permissions; Collab Dock never asks for, sees or stores a TikTok password. Follower counts, view counts and profile pictures shown on Collab Dock are pulled from TikTok's own API using that authorisation, so numbers can't be typed in or inflated by hand.
What happens if a creator takes the money and doesn't post?
They can't. Money only leaves escrow after the brand approves the deliverable. If the creator fails to deliver, the brand can cancel and request a refund with evidence, which becomes a report reviewed by a Collab Dock admin against the agreed brief and campaign chat.
What happens if a brand refuses to pay after the work is delivered?
They already paid — escrow is funded before delivery unlocks. A brand cannot receive the content without the money already being held. If a brand goes silent after delivery, the submission auto-approves after 72 hours and funds release to the creator.
How do disputes get resolved?
An admin reviews the written brief, the campaign chat, the submitted deliverables and any evidence uploaded by either side, then rules on a fair outcome — full release, full refund, or a split. This is why the brief text matters: disputes are judged against what was agreed in writing.
