Shipping Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
Some campaigns involve a brand sending physical items (product, PR packages, samples, gifted goods) to a creator. Collab Dock provides tooling to record that shipping happened, but the physical side of the deal is entirely between the brand and the creator.
What Collab Dock covers
- Escrow of the cash portion of the deal.
- Release, refund, and dispute handling on the money side only.
- A record of whether items were being shipped and the tracking supplied.
What Collab Dock does NOT cover
Collab Dock is not a courier, insurer, or fulfilment provider. We do not cover, insure, replace, refund, or accept blame for:
- Items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.
- Delayed, undelivered, or returned parcels.
- Items that don't match what was promised (wrong item, wrong size, expired stock, counterfeit, etc.).
- Fraudulent shipments — e.g. a brand ships an empty box, a decoy item, or nothing at all.
- Customs fees, duties, taxes, or import restrictions.
- Personal injury, allergic reactions, or property damage caused by shipped goods.
Brand responsibilities
- Decide up front, once the deal is agreed, whether physical items are being sent.
- Ship promptly and provide accurate carrier + tracking details inside the campaign.
- Package items safely and legally for the destination country.
- Handle your own postage insurance if the item is valuable.
Creator responsibilities
- Provide an accurate delivery address to the brand privately.
- Confirm inside the campaign once items are received.
- Flag any tampering, missing contents, or condition issues in the campaign chat immediately.
Disputes involving shipped items
If a dispute is opened, admins will only rule on the escrowed money. Shipping issues (loss, damage, non-delivery, item quality) can inform the decision but Collab Dock cannot force a refund or replacement of the physical goods themselves — that remains between you, the sender, and the carrier.
Recommended practice
- Use a tracked, signed-for service for anything valuable.
- Photograph the parcel before dispatch and on arrival.
- Keep receipts and carrier communications outside the platform.
By using Collab Dock you agree that the platform's responsibility is limited to the financial escrow, and that all physical shipping risk sits with the brand and creator.
