Refund Policy

This policy explains when and how refunds are issued on Collab Dock. Every campaign is funded into escrow, and refund eligibility depends on the stage the campaign has reached. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
Before a creator accepts
- The brand can cancel and receive a full refund.
- No funds are released to the creator.
After agreement, before work starts
- The brand can request cancellation.
- If the creator agrees, the brand receives a full refund.
- If the creator has already invested meaningful time or resources, an admin may determine a fair partial refund.
After content has been submitted
- Refunds are not automatic.
- The brand must either approve the work, or request revisions if the deliverables don't match the agreed brief.
- Funds remain in escrow while revisions are being handled.
Disputed work
If the brand and creator can't agree:
- The dispute enters OPEN status.
- Evidence is collected from both parties.
- An admin reviews the campaign brief, deliverables, messages, and revision history.
- The admin may release 100% to the creator, refund 100% to the brand, or split the funds between both parties.
Auto-approval rule
- If the creator submits work and the brand doesn't respond within 72 hours, the submission is automatically approved.
- Escrow funds are then automatically released to the creator.
- Refunds are generally unavailable after release, unless fraud or a policy violation is later discovered.
Fraud and platform abuse
Collab Dock may issue refunds outside this policy when:
- Fraudulent creator activity is detected.
- Fake metrics or misrepresentation is proven.
- Brand payment fraud occurs.
- Platform terms are violated.
Platform fee treatment
- If a refund occurs before payout, the platform fee is refunded.
- If a payout has already been processed, the platform fee may be non-refundable depending on payment processor costs and administrative handling.
How to request a refund
Refund requests are made from within the relevant campaign workspace. For help, use the contact form. Statutory consumer rights under your local law are not affected by this policy.
