Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost a brand to hire a creator on Collab Dock?
Joining, posting briefs, reviewing applications and negotiating are free. You pay only the price you agree with the creator. Collab Dock's 20% platform fee is taken from the payout side of a completed deal, and Stripe's processing fees come out of that same 20%.
What stops a creator taking my money and not posting?
Your payment is held in Stripe escrow. The creator can only unlock delivery once escrow is funded, and funds are released only when you approve the deliverable (or after 72 hours of no response). If nothing is delivered you can cancel with evidence and get refunded.
Are creator follower counts real?
Yes. Creators connect through TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 Login Kit with read-only scopes, so followers, views and likes are read from TikTok's API rather than typed in by the creator.
Can I get a refund after the campaign completes?
Once funds have been released and paid out to the creator's bank account, Collab Dock has no access to that account, so refunds are not possible. Raise cancellations and disputes before you approve the deliverable.
What is the minimum campaign budget?
£10 per deal. This keeps payouts above processing costs so funds never get stuck.
